School, that place that rounds up delinquents of all sorts

Who: Anyone and everyone! Students, teachers, random folks showing up at school for various reasons. Bring it on.
Where: School places (whatever grade level is appropriate.)
When:Throughout the month of March -- game-wide plots pending.
What: There was a good amount of school-aged kids around, so why not figure out what the hell they do all day at that place they're sent off to five days a week. This is basically a catchall log for all the happenings at school/during school/after school??? Make your own top-level and then go forth and bother others, too!
Warnings: None at the moment, watch the subject lines

[Open to everyone! Come one, come all!]

[ For the kids and teenagers of Wayward Pines, there's very little change in schedule Monday thru Friday. The school bell rings at nine o'clock sharp, no matter Elementary, Junior High, or High School, followed by the typical routine of the Pledge of Allegiance, Moment of Silence and whatever announcements that the school faculty deems important.

Some mornings it's news of various sports teams triumphs (and losses) from the previous night, or listings of different clubs and what times they'll be meeting. Sometimes it's nothing more than a change in the lunch menu for the week -- you probably didn't want any part of whatever the "Chef's Special" was, anyway.

Throughout the day attendance is taken, classes are conducted and the young minds of Wayward Pines are enlightened. Or, as enlightened as one can be with textbooks that are more than a few decades out of date. The same familiar notices that are posted around town are plastered on the walls between posters advertising the next Yearbook Club meeting, or reminding students to "talk with their guidance counselor about their future.".

At three o'clock exactly, the bell sounds for the end of the day and most students can be found rushing out of every exit that the building has. There aren't a few stragglers, however. Those who are staying late for some kind of practice, or club meeting, and even the usual lineup of "troublemakers" loitering around the premises without any real reason to be there. ]

[ As much as Izumi loathes the idea, today's the day for playing catch up after taking a few off from school for the alleged accident. The lonely house is no fun, so he decides that he'll go somewhere more exciting than the equally quiet library, because some noise is in order, even if it can get a bit chilly outside. Armed with a folder containing his missing homework, he heads for the field.

As he ascends the stairs for a higher place on the bleachers, he notices the nearby boy. The guy looks about his age. ]

Oh, hey! I didn't think there'd be anyone here.

[ People get pissed if they hang out on the higher seats? Then they can deal with it. Izumi wants to sit here – and sit he does, oriented on the row below Noah's diagonally, so that he can look over his shoulder while speaking. ]

It'll be good practice for handling a larger crowd. Should be fine as long as we're quiet, right? I'm just here to do homework.

[ Don't look at him, coach. He's not the one laughing! ]

Everything. I haven't been here in a while.

[ Math, science, literature—you name it. There's not a lot, but what's there will keep him busy. He has no memory of class, which leaves him to find out the context of today's lessons on his own. ]

I skimmed them earlier, and they're not that hard.

[ Good guess—or is it something else? Izumi nods, though his unchanging expression suggests that he isn't terribly surprised someone nailed it in one. ]

Yeah. Is it that common?
