[ She's been doing this for a long time. She can't calculate the days and she can't describe each and every visit in detail, but this is routine. She's convinced of that much. Recalling a reason for why she goes bowling every Wednesday isn't easy either, though she might justify it towards the fact that she's good at it. Accuracy has always been her thing, expertly angling the ball just right to get strikes rather repetitively. So maybe it's all a matter of showing off.
Though there's not a lot of people to show off to since this place is pretty small and pretty quiet, especially in the middle of the week. Still, there's at least one regular who seems to appreciate her talents. ]
That's six in a row. Bam! Guess who owes me a hot dog now?
[ It's a small town, but she doesn't really ever see Peter outside of this place. Or at least she doesn't remember if she has, her memory constantly doing that thing where it's fuzzy and things don't always seem quite right. But she feels like if she did see him, she'd remember him, considering they have been meeting in this place pretty regularly on a weekly basis since who knows how long?
She hops onto a stool, leaning in on the counter to take a sip of her soda. ] Might as well give up while it's early. I'm kicking your ass, Pete.

[ Spoilers: he's got nothing planned.
Really, he's going to play the rest of this game out as best he can and then accept a gracious defeat.
Kate's probably got like a million years of extra experience on him anyway.
Right? ]

Alright, tough guy. Go for it. Execute your big time plan. Make me grovel at your feet when you kick my ass. [ She snorts, breaking into a sly smile as she crosses her arms, leaning back in her seat. ] Prove to me that I'm not just that good.
[ Because she damn well knows she is. ]
