"I promise to be on best behavior for my dear sister-in-law," he said with a smile as he rolled over and the pushed himself up onto his hands and feet. Stretching his arms above his head, he counted himself lucky that he was already in clothes appropriate for some training so they wouldn't have to waste any time swinging by their bedroom to change. At the mention of tuna being mixed with anything questionable, he shivered and quickly ushered Alec out of the workshop, careful to close the door behind them before following him through the house. His fingers laced together with Alec's as if it were second nature, and once they came into the kitchen he draped himself over his shoulders, the picture of casualness.

Watching the exchange between the siblings, Magnus is once again struck by how good they both are at this kind of thing. Alec and Izzy are both trained fighters, but it's more than just combat; they're hunters, which required them to be as intelligent as their prey.

Magnus chuckled, turning a grin from Alec to Izzy. "Now now, no one get jealous. I don't want to have Lightwoods fighting over me," he teased, kissing Alec on the cheek. Turning to lead the way down into the basement, he tugged on Alec's hand along the way. "Good thing we're practicing where no one can see my crushing defeat, right?" he asked, glancing sideways at Alec in a silent question. It would be easy to disable the cameras, if necessary, but just as easy to disguise their conversation beneath a training routine.
