[ jyn should chose the blandest of these options, because the more junk she eats the more her stomach tends to rebel against her, but it's a discomfort she can deal with. it's a discomfort of being full after two bites because her body hasn't learned to cope with regular food yet. ]

Chilaquiles. [ it sounds like something from cassian's home, the easy way it rolls off his tongue. the incredibly inexpert way it rolls off her own.

maple nut butter isn't bad, she decides, nibbling half carefully, but too sweet for her. ]

Alright. [ He smiles and starts gathering items. Tortillas, salsa, onions...these things are practically staples for Cassian, and since he's the one stocking most of Jyn's non-microwavable or sugar-based pantry stuffs, they exist in her kitchen as well. ]

Do you want eggs to go with it?

No. [ that's too much, she can imagine her poor body violently expelling greasy eggs and it makes her stomach turn over just thinking about it. ] No eggs for me.

[ he can have as many as he'd like, however. ]

What is... Chilaquiles? [ butter cream caramel is next, gently setting the remaining half of the other back into it's slot. ]

Ah, [ Because he forgot to explain, and spaghetti is more easily assimilated into this culture than bastardized-memory foods ] it's fried tortillas and salsa. With cheese, and onions. I was thinking of adding chicken, maybe. [ He tilts his head at her. ]

Or I could do soup, maybe.

Cassian. [ she swigs her beer, giving him a look. she doesn't have to remember that the last six months of her life were surviving on two protein cubes a day (and for a good four months of her childhood she subsisted on saw's preferred can of protein milk), to remember she didn't exactly grow up with a steady diet of anything other than scrounging up whatever was available.

he can't give her this many options because she doesn't know what to choose because she hasn't had much choice since she was eight. ]
