...well, he'd been heading back to his house as opposed to the animal shelter. But while he'd offered the animal shelter, he didn't quite feel right bringing this cat there. Maybe that was what was missing from his house; for some reason, he felt like he needed a cat there, felt like he didn't sleep without something soft and purring near his face. Yes, okay, he'd bring the cat home. Maybe bring him by the shelter if he had any trouble but-

He'll be slow, just to make sure the kitten can keep up. He's got much longer legs, after all.
