He frowned. "You didn't just come from the hospital, did you?" Which would have explained the weather-inappropriate clothes and lack of money. Sam's own outfit (minus his wings and weapons) wasn't really any better as far as causing him to stand out, though at least it kept some of the weather off. He was also lucky enough to have been met at the hospital by Steve, who had filled him in on this place and given him some money to pick up some normal clothes.
