( it only counts as "sleeping here" if he slept. which he didn't. he's been awake for the past twenty-four hours catching up the enormous backlog of broken items that built up since his "accident" and the subsequent vacation that he accidentally took (when he wasn't even aware that he owned a store in the first place because he couldn't remember anything). it's good anyways — this not going to bed thing. it helps ensure that he doesn't wake up in a strange place again. way he figures it: if he minimize his sleep, he'll minimize the danger of losing large chunks of days from his memory.
