[ If Steve notices any tension, he's not showing it by the time Nyx gets a good look at him. Besides, there's plenty to account for it: pain, memory or lack thereof, a too-soft bed. Knowing what it's like to wake up to mortar is just one contender. Steve gives him a small smile when he speaks and doesn't try to stop him from moving, though he does say, ] Don't have to get up on my account.

[ He looks around briefly before half standing himself to grab the rolling bedside table, swung a little too wide for Nyx to be able to reach it comfortably. There's a small plastic pitcher and cups there, and Steve lays his book on the bed so he can pull one off the stack and fill it. He puts pitcher and cup back on the table and pushes it closer to Nyx before settling back, nodding to the man's bandaged and slung arm. ]

Doesn't look like it's broken.
