[It's only because of the sheer panic and chaos that Izzy isn't worried much about her shop. The creatures don't seem interested in beautiful, tasteful clothes, anyway. And the people that the creatures are after....definitely more interested in running than looting the pretty clothes. She wishes that she'd decorated with a few more weapons, but those aren't exactly the decor of a clothing boutique.
Still, her whip and stele should get her far enough; there are weapons at home, after all, should she need to tack on a few more.
After initially leaving her shop and helping the shoppers that had been there get out, Izzy did take a moment to activate all of her runes (thanking the Angel that the police station had already returned it to her). Now, though, her primary concern is getting home. It doesn't take her long to come face to face with one of those...things. And it doesn't take her long to act either, the snap of her whip ringing out as she lashes out at the creature, driving it away from herelf and someone else, who takes the momentary distraction to run for it. The creature isn't deterred enough to back off, though, which is what causes the second crack.
And that's when the light in the periphiary gets her attention: Alec.
Shifting to change her direction only slightly, Izzy uses her whip much like a lion tamer might for a moment, rappid and quick snaps from the sharp end of the weapon driving the creature back...both to put them closer to the source of the light and to gain her brother's attention through sound and the sight of the line of the whip being thrown out.] Alec! Over here, big brother!
[Izzy calls out only once she is sure she's close enough for her voice to carry, and this time instead of snapping the monster in the face, neck, or body to guide it she catches it around the neck, winding the whip before she snaps her foot into place on the whip, holding it in place with all the strength that she's got....because by the ange that damn thing is not happy!] A little help?
[She nods down to the creature, figuring since he has a blade and all....]
