[ Crowe was already on the way towards her own house, suspecting that Raven had ended up there when shit came down - considering how much time she could spend in the empty house's garage, it's highly probably, after all - but fighting these things is slow because there are so many of them. And even if she can do it, she's sorely missing her (well, the King's) magic just now. Sorely. Especially going by how these things react to fire.
Oh, well. At least that should mean Nyx can do a lot more damage and should be safe.

The upside is that the creatures (she's trying to not think 'daemons' but it's really difficult, especially with that message from Steve and Poe from last month and their 'used to be human') actually clear away from the blast, so Crowe can run the rest of the distance unhindered (save from that bite that the lucky bastard took out of her thigh, but it's not going to be doing anything more), there to witness Raven coming up. ]
