Well, mystery solved. They are two people who probably should not, on current evidence, be dancing. But Aranea's always had a borderline negligent regard for what she should be doing, and her partner's working the kind of smile that makes bubble-bursting less appealing by the second, so... hell with it.

"You make up for it with enthusiasm." The fact that she's not actually trying to drag him with the comment is a surprise even to herself. More importantly, the verve he's putting into the dancing is something she can just about spin into a sign that he's persistent. Resilient, even.
