She looks up at him, surprised that he's taken note of her. She's used to being a bit quiet and hidden from the general adult eye, mostly because adults prefer to not deal with children (even those overly nice townsfolk who are polite but detached). Glancing from him to the table to him, she considers her options.

"You hit the balls into the corners. With the stick." That much, she's figured out. You hit one white ball into the others and they go into pockets. That's not too difficult, right? There's striped ones and fully colored ones, and they belong to different people playing. She's just not sure if the numbers mean anything or not.
