Clary flashed him a smile. She was happy for Alec. He deserved to be happy but as always that feeling wasn't rooted in anything. It was just a feeling and one she knew was true.

"Ah, right." Her tone was a little bit awkward before turning to head off. Not remembering things was starting to annoy Clary but at the moment there wasn't anything she could do about it.

It was probably best not to think about it until then.
