The words ring true in a number of ways, and he isn't entirely sure which one he'd intended, but it doesn't matter in the moment. "Gelatine is a truly singular dish, that's for sure. Somewhere between a solid and a liquid. Much like cats."

Nearly wincing at the thought of biting into a muffin and losing his teeth, he raises an eyebrow at Izzy. "You should keep that recipe around to use on enemies. If you've got an unfriendly neighbor, just gift them some dental problems in muffin's clothing." At the thought of her breaking a table with a muffin, though, he truly does wince.

"Right. And Alec seems to be enjoying himself, even if he isn't mingling as much," he says with a fond smile as he nods his head over to where Alec is standing along one wall, arms crossed over his chest.
