"If you give the other ones a chance I'm pretty sure that doesn't paint you in a bad light." Izzy winks, playfully. She doesn't know everything about Magnus. Then agian, she's almost positive that she didn't before the accident. Quartier Pigalle doesn't sound familiar to her, anyway, but she is aware that he had a life before he and Alec became an item. It does err a little bit on speaking about the past. It really is harder to keep from doing it, even in passing, than one would think.
"I don't mind the texture, personally, but it is different from most other foods when it comes to texture." Izzy muses, jiggling her own dish of jello a little and watching it sway to and fro. "It's both flexible and keeps it's form." Dumb thing to say, but it is true. Shaking that off Izzy manages to laugh despite the fact that they're now touching on her cooking.
"That's putting it lightly. I think the would have broken someone's teeth had I left them out. Definitely good potential weapons and not actual food." Izzy smiles, managing not to actually be offended, really, in regards to just how terrible her cooking turned out. "I almost took a chunk out of the table with one." There's almost a proud note to her voice as she admits that with a lift of her right shoulder before she takes another bite of her jello.
She and Alec goingso quickly to weaponry probably says something about them as people, but she's not thinking too hard on that.
"And everyone knows a bigger party is much more fun, especially when you take into account the mingling." Izzy winks. "Plus, you got to show off your party-planning skills, which are top-notch. Win/win, right?"
