It was nice to see two people who clearly had affection towards one another; Leia could feel it even without her gut telling her what it was. All of that emotion was there in her eyes, and Leia just smiled. Yes, the universe could be terrible, and everything could go down in flames but finding love that was forged in the middle of that sort of thing was rare and it was lasting.

She was glad that these two were able to have that time, and Leia pushed aside all thoughts of what the two of them were going to eventually need to return to once they defeated whoever it was that was holding them here like this.

But for now Leia focused on what was important: rebelling. The talk of Steve made her nod. Since the two worked together at the school, she had been studying him and she knew soldiers when it came down to it and he definitely was one. More than that, he had the baring of a general like she herself did. "It sounds like I need to do some talking to Steve as well then. We need everyone we can to be involved with this if it's to work." Leia gave a smile and a wave of her hand, indicating that she knew that they knew that.

"I assume Poe sent me out here because of that?"
