"Not until today." It seems something worthless to chalk up to amnesia because even though her mind adjusted to accept dog and pet as logical explanations, that is all she knows. She did not know dog ears were so soft or that their noses were so cold or that if you scritch them just under their floppy ears they will huff at you happily. This is a brand new experience, for sure. Help.
