After his first customer at the table had nearly managed to send Alex into a panic attack trying to figure out the pricing on his own, Alex had made a point of quizzing the owner of the table on costs so he's more prepared now.
"Between one and five dollars, depending on the size." He tells the other boy easily, adding with a soft laugh and a shrug, "with certain bulk discounts depending on the item and quantity that I'd honestly rather not get into because I start to feel like I'm in maths class."
Alex regrets the shrug almost immediately as it pulls on freshly burned skin, and he can't quite hide the wince that follows.
