Watching him move about the kitchen was... comforting, in a way. He looked at ease, knowing where everything was without really having to think about it. How long would it take before she could do the same?

It was nice to know that she wasn't completely inept (just in the kitchen), but that first thing worried her a bit. She had burned a house down? How, if not in a kitchen accident? Had she... done it on purpose? It was something she wanted to ask, though she wasn't entirely sure she actually wanted to know the answer. And anyway, she couldn't really ask right now, they'd already been skirting and possibly outright breaking the rule of not talking about the past, so maybe it was better to save that particular topic for another conversation.

"Other talents?" she repeated, the words coming out a bit more... flirty than she'd intended? Was it because she knew she was supposed to be in love with Damon, or because of how kind and helpful he'd been so far? Whatever it was, she went with it. "Such as?"
