Sharon Carter | May 1st and 3rd, Main Street and AROUND

may 1st, HEADIN' DOWNTOWN
[ Her goosebumps have nothing to do with the light May breeze and her hospital gown.

She's marked every camera between the hospital and the sheriff's office, calculated the visual coverage of Main Street, tagged the people and the places where she's likely to find weapons or substitutes for weapons.

Not for a moment does Sharon feel exposed or vulnerable, and there's where the dissonance comes in. Circumstances indicate that she shouldn't walk with the confidence she feels. She adjusts in microscopic ways as she makes her way through town. Hugs herself, steps a little quicker, keeps her head down.

And she wonders who the hell she is.

Certainly not an ordinary nurse. ]

may 3rd, early morning jog
[ It's just peeking past dawn as Sharon takes to the neighborhood streets. She's going easy, taking it slow, trying to spot the houses that are lived in and see if she can guess at how long. It's a game, one that might prove useful in the long run.

Sharon has learned over the past two days that she can't sleep past daybreak. She can't sleep past daybreak, she has an eye for surveillance, she can kick the crap out of a standing practice bag and enjoy herself while doing it. Her house is small, comfortable, practical, and has more fitness gear than clothes.

Also, she likes herself. An odd realization when she's got nothing upstairs but vague recollections and instinct, but she feels solid in her own skin even without the knowledge.

The rest, she can find out. She can build up her knowledge base and if the people here are to be believed (ha ha ha), the rest will come back.

Even if it doesn't, she's going to keep her head down and keep studying her surroundings until she's got a clearer idea of what to do. ]

other days; wildcard
[ Grocery store, Crossbones Boxing, Go Ask Alice, main street--Sharon makes her way around town, greeting those who say hello and flashing smiles and sharing introductions when there's someone who doesn't seem to know her. There's nothing in her demeanor that says she doesn't trust this place.

In fact, she seems to fit in better with the locals than with her fellow hospital escapees. ]
