Jyn isn't the only one who looks like a street urchin.
Rey is all decked out in her scavenger gear when she arrives at the Very Wholesome, Very Clean bake sale, and it's clear from the moment she gets a look at the people around her that she's got a decidedly different look to the majority of the crowd. It's not the first time she's noticed this, of course, but she's been strangely resistant to decking herself out in new, fresh, Wayward Pines fashion. It just doesn't feel right.
She's shovelling a cupcake into her mouth quite indelicately when she comes across Jyn, although "comes across" is a gentle way of putting it. What actually happens is that Rey is looking behind her as she walks, taking in the sights around her, and as a result her left shoulder manages to connect quite solidly with Jyn's own. And in the momentary confusion, the last of Rey's cupcake ends up on the floor. Devastating.
"Sorry," she mutters, but it's more of a grunt, and she doesn't really sound all that sorry at all. She is, at least, not starting a fight over it though, instead focused on staring at her bartered cupcake with an utterly melancholic look. Rest in peaces, sweet cupcake. You will be sorely missed.
