"I don't think it would be wise to write where things can be seen," Rumlow replies, but he gets the sentiment. If her memories are having a harder time catching up, that's an easy way to see what's missing. Might even trigger a few into coming back. Hers or his, he'd be grateful for either.

It's a little awkward to walk like this, he notes, as Kenzi wraps around him and he slows, smiling down at her as if fond of her affections. He tips her face up and gives her a soft kiss. (He likes it, but they have to keep up pretenses.)
